My Urban Decay Picks

Urban Decay is having their Friends and Family sale until March 10th. Woohoo!~ It’s the perfect time to stock up on Urban Decay products! Here are the details of the F&F Sale and reviews of my favorite Urban Decay products. Hope it helps you decide what to get!

Details of the Friends and Family Sale: Use coupon code FFSPRING12 to get 20% off your order, INCLUDING sale Items!. Orders of $50+ ships for free or a $6 flat-rate for shipping. The sale excludes NAKED2, but you can get the original NAKED which is my favorite of the 2 palettes. Ends on March 10th.

♥  Naked Palette: 12 Amazing Neutral Shadows ($50)
Everybody wants to look good NAKED! Far from a group of boring beige shadows, Naked Palette’s long, lean, seductive case is packed with TWELVE gorgeous neutrals, including FIVE NEW shades, and includes our pro-quality Good Karma Shadow Brush.

I LOVE this palette. Check out my review and swatches HERE. I was unhappy to see that Urban Decay raised their prices from $48 to $50… but at least you can 20% off during this F&F sale!

♥  Complexion Primer Potion Pore Perfecting: Makeup Base ($31)
A foundation primer that minimizes the look of pores and fine lines to deliver a soft-matte, airbrushed complexions—without the heavy, greasy feel associated with face primers. (Also comes in a Brightening formula)

This is a great foundation primer, but it can be used alone too. The Pore Perfecting primer leaves your skin looking and feeling velvety soft. Also, it doesn’t feel like I have a silicon mask on my face which is nice. You need a tiny tiny bit for your entire face so this 1.0 oz bottle will last forever. Take a look at the before and after picture below. Notice how the fine lines and pores seem to be smoothed away? Amazing. I know I’ll get some gasps with this next statement, but…  I actually prefer this over Smashbox’s Photo Finish primers <*shrug*… just my opinion>.

♥  Little Sin Eyeshadow Primer Potion Set: Eyeshadow Base (On sale for $15 +20% off with code. Original price is $29)
Our four Eyeshadow Primer Potions are unbelievable for smoother, longer-lasting and absolutely crease-proof shadow. This set is a must-have for any serious or aspiring primer junkie. Inside, each travel-size potion does more than grip eye color.

I got these during the Urban Decay event on HauteLook last month and am sooo glad I did. (BTW, HauteLook has amazing beauty events everyday, so be sure to check them out. Also, be sure to enter my exclusive $75 HauteLook Gift Card Giveaway!!)  These primer potions are the “vintage” bottles which means they’re the previous bottle design. I prefer these mini sizes because I’ll actually  finish the products before they dry out. Plus, I get the variety of all 4 shades for only $15 + 20% off now! The colored ones are great alone or under shadows to enhance the color. It’s obvious, but these primers also help shadows stay on your lids for all day crease-free wear. Each mini potion is 0.13 oz and a full size is .34 oz. Full size is $58.82 per ounce and the 4 Mini Potions (on sale) is $28.85 per ounce. These minis are totally a steal.

1) Original: Dries invisible.  2) Sin: Shimmery/Frosty champagne 3) Eden: Nude matte finish 4) Greed: Shimmery yellow gold

♥  24/7 Shadow Pencil Stash: Glide-On Shadow Pencil (On sale for $12 + 20% off with code! Original price $34)
We packaged 5 travel-sized (0.088 oz) Shadow Pencils in a shade assortment that lets you play boldly with color or create softly smudged effects. You get all the creamy, waterproof, vibrant color of our 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils in a fat shape that’s super-versatile: use the wide side of the pencil to shadow larger areas with ease or use the thin tip to line your eyes.

I also got these on HauteLook during their Urban Decay event. These shadow pencils are named perfectly. They really GLIDE-ON with ease with a ton of color payoff. No tugging or struggling to color your lids. Perfect alone, or under your favorite shadows for additional color and depth. Once these shadows set, they are there to stay. I tried washing them off with my regular face cleansers and see the results below. You’ll definitely need a makeup remover to get these suckers off!~

1) Delinquent: deep purple with purple sparkle  2) Juju: frosted taupe (exclusive to set)  3) Rehab: shimmery medium chocolate 4) Sin: shimmery pinky champagne (similar to Primer Potion in Sin but less frosted, and slightly pinker than Naked Palette’s Sin)  5) Clash: bright turquoise blue with silvery sparkles.

There you have it. My favorite Urban Decay products. 🙂
Great products on sale PLUS an additional 20% off is always a good thing.
Have a great day and until next time… stay pretty, inside and out! xo

I went to a urban decay event a few weeks ago. I had never used their makeup before, but I was impressed, especially with their foundation selection. Great post chick 🙂 x

Everything I’ve ever had from UD has been awesome! They are definitely one of my favorite brands. But how have I never tried Sin UDPP? Oh my – it’s so shimmery and gorgeous. Beautiful swatches, darling!
