I hope everyone had a great 4th of July week. I’ve chosen a few (beauty related) photos to share with you from Instagram. If you want to see what I’m up when I’m not testing out beauty products, follow me on Instagram @prettygossip.
**By the way, if you get my email notifications, you’ll never miss a post (yay!)… but you might be missing some photos! I’ve noticed that some photos do NOT show up on the email notifications! I don’t want you to miss any important photos, so do me a favor and when you get an email notification, click on the title of the post and view directly on the website. If you’re viewing this via email, you might be missing the photo below where I’m pointing out the missing photo in my last email notification!
Here’s my beauty-full week of photos…
Started the week with a quote in the Wall Street Journal about my beauty shopping habits. How do you like to shop?
I recently got a ton of samples to try out from various places! Have you tried any of these items?
– Night of Beauty: Three Day Rule and Spaphile hosted a Night of Beauty Part II at the Viceroy in Santa Monica. As you can see, the gift bag was… amazing. 😉
– Vivant Skincare– Haven’t tried these yet, but am excited to. Let me know if you’ve tried this brand!
–Dermalogica: I’ve heard so much about this brand. Glad I finally get to try it.
– Total Beauty Collection: I totally lucked out on this. I was at a mixer chatting with a Total Beauty representative and she generously gave me this mega Total Beauty Collection box (originally meant for a celebrity who was a no-show. Score!) Probably about 3 months worth of samples. Each box is $15. 🙂
Here’s another sample box I got this week. This Glossy Box cost me a total of $23. Good sized samples 🙂
I got eyelash extensions this week. Here’s a photo of my wimpy lashes before. Click here for the after photos!
Most popular post this week was my Splatter Paint Nail Tutorial. I used red, white and blue for a 4th of July look, but you can switch out the colors for any occasion! If you’re on Pinterest, please pin. If you’re not on Pinterest and need an invite, email me!
After the 4th of July festivities, I decided to give myself a gel mani with my new NaiLuv LED lamp. I’ll do a tutorial and review of this soon.
So far.. I’m loving my nails. So shiny and no chips. Be sure to check back to get my tips and tricks to get the perfect gel nails at home. What do you think? Have you tried gel nails?
Let me know if you have any questions about any of the products pictured above!~
