Korea {Part II : Beauty-Full}

Posted on November 14, 2012

On my recent trip to Korea, I purchased quite a bit of makeup. :) Big surprise right?!

In the interest of time, I’ll just highlight a few products I’m most excited to try out~

Of course, I had to pick up some more bb creams.
Stay tuned for my reviews! In case you’re interested… click here for my other bb cream reviews.

I wasn’t familiar with Innisfree before my visit to Korea (photos here), but it’s quickly become one of my favorite natural Korean brands! Here are 3 items I’m looking forward to the most: compact bb cream, peeling exfoliator (used like a toner), and facial green tea oil.

Reviews coming soon and Innisfree is available here and here.

Mascara remover and lash curler from Etude House. According to my friend, Etude House’s lash curler is just as good as Shu Uemura’s lash curler! That would be awesome. $3 vs. $20. #Winning! Etude House products are available here and here.

ps… check out my best lash curling secret here and my curling tutorial here.

Grape scented nail polish remover and strawberry foam hair rollers (available here).
Omg. Are you kidding me?! It’s like a beauty-full fruit cocktail party. :)

I splurged at the Lotte Duty Free Store.

La Mer is my favorite face cream (review here | available here) so I couldn’t pass up the amazing and exclusive deal at the Duty Free Store (3.4oz for $365).  A 3.4 jar isn’t even available at the department stores! The department stores sizes are as follows: 1 oz for $150, 2 oz for $275, 16.5 oz for $1900.

SK-II Facial Treatment Essence (available here)… I had to see what the hype was about. Plus, I got 2 bottles for the price of one (75 mL for $100). I’ll let you know my thoughts once I’ve had a chance to try the Essence for a couple of months. Stay tuned!

I went a little overboard with the sheet masks (review here | available here). 😉

Here’s a handful of facial, neck, eye, and hand sheet masks I’m most looking forward to… Lots of masks from The Face Shop (available here), Skin Food (available here), Etude House (available here), and Innisfree (available here).  :)

I found myself oohing and ahhing over the uber cute packaging. Here’s some photos I shared on Instagram.

Super cute and clever products… The photo on the right was taken at the Etude House in Gangnam. Just cut off a piece of tape and use it to test out nail polish colors without messing up your nails! Genius.

Have you tried any of these products?

Let me know if there’s any products or reviews you’d like to see sooner than later! xoxo
