As I get older, the area under my eyes are getting darker and duller. In this post, I’ll share 2 products that have helped me conceal and brighten my tired looking eyes.
Enter Mally’s Cancellation Conditioning Concealer and Yves Saint Laurent’s Touche Eclat Radiant Touch to the rescue!
Below are swatches of Mally Cancellation Concealer in Light and YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch in 1.5 Radiant Silk. Mally Cancellation Concealer is very creamy and great for dry skin especially during the cold dry months. YSL’s illuminizing pen is very blendable and melts onto your skin. Great alone or on top of a concealer to add a touch of light.
Mally Cancellation Conditioning Concealer: “This creamy concealer melts into your skin making blemishes disappear and your skin look fresh and bright. Mally’s Cancellation Conditioning Concealer is designed to condition, so it instantly hydrates your skin and will never flake or peel. Blendable and light, it’s skin conditioning and flawless coverage all in one gorgeous waterproof formula“Available for $35 in Fair | Light | Medium | Tan | Rich.
- Why I love it: When I’m not making my own version of a moisturizing concealer… I’ve been using Mally’s Cancellation Conditioning Concealer and loving it. It’s creamy (a must for dry skin), buildable and provides great everyday coverage. Light is a great match for my yellow-y Asian skin.
- How I use it: I warm a tiny dab between my ring fingers then gently apply under my eyes in light tapping motions. Remember, no tugging on your delicate eye area.
Yves Saint Laurent Radiant Touch: “Touche Eclat banishes shadows and tired-looking eyes by adding light and creating an instant lift to the eye area. Touche Eclat widens eyes when used between the eyebrows and along the sides of the nose, and creates fuller looking lips when used in the hollow of the chin and around the contour of the lips. It’s formulated for all skin types and for anyone who wants instant radiance, luminosity, and lift.” Available for $40 in 12 shades: 1 Luminous Radiance | 1.5 Radiant Silk | 2 Luminous Ivory | 2.5 Luminous Vanilla | 3 Light Peach | 3.5 Luminous Almond | 4.5 Luminous Sand | 5 Luminous Almond | 5.5 Luminous Praline | 6 Luminous Amber | 6.5 Luminous Toffee | 7 Luminous Mocha
- Why I love it: Depending how tired I look, I may use this pen alone or on top of my concealer. If I need some extra help, I’ll conceal with my concealer, then apply Yves Saint Laurents’s Touche Eclat Radiant Touch to brighten and add a touch of light to my eyes. The liquid-y product simply melts into the skin and brightens the area without any obvious iridescence, shimmer or shine. Also, no creasing. It’s like 8 hours of sleep in a pen. I love this product. Just a note that this product is not a concealer, so it won’t cover up any blemishes or dark circles. It’s just meant to be an illuminizer that adds light and radiance.
- How I use it: Push the button at the end of the pen to pump the product out through the brush. Apply directly to the areas needing brightening, then dab with fingers or blend with a small blending brush. I personally place the product on my ring finger, warm between my fingers, and dab onto my under eye area. Again, no tugging. The pen is also great to use on the bridge of your nose.
Hope everyone is enjoying the week!~ xoxo.
